Wireframe

Wireframing is an important communication tool in any web or app project. It gives the company, developer, and designer an opportunity to walk through the structure of the website without getting sidetracked by design elements such as colours and images.

Visual designers use the wireframe as the basis for renderings that show the hierarchical importance and location of the elements (with each general section of the page labelled); free of any potentially distracting design treatments.

Wireframes have a significant role in the design process. As yet, wireframing has been the most effective way to detect usability issues early on in the design process. It typically does not include colour, graphics or stylized fonts so that the reviewer is least distracted and focused on the user flows and user experience.

Focusing only on wireframes at this stage helps a company avoid building unrealistic expectations about the site’s final look and feel because having maximum flexibility to evolve the site’s information design is necessary.

When building a home, we don’t want to take chances. We cannot prioritize interior design first before planning the electrical system, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The same is true with web design. We have to perform wireframing and prototyping first before graphic design.

A mockup web design plays a crucial role in building a great foundation for a website. Business owners can benefit from the responsiveness, user-friendly navigation, and properly fitted web content of a website. It would mean an increase in traffic, a higher conversion rate, and a boost in sales. All websites should undergo mockups to ensure they thrive in the competitive world of business.
